CeeDee Lamb Out Again on Thursday
CeeDee Lamb (ankle) missed another day of practice this week on Thursday. Lamb has made progress from a high-ankle sprain that has kept him sidelined for each of the last two games, but he's not on track to make his return in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers. Per Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News, the 26-year-old Pro Bowler continues to focus on conditioning and resistance training before he can think about getting back on the field. Lamb has not officially been ruled out for the weekend in Carolina, but that is likely coming on Friday. Fantasy managers can only hope that Lamb will make more progress next week and return to face the division-rival Washington Commanders in Week 7. George Pickens will continue to operate as the WR1 in Dallas if Lamb misses another game, with tight end Jake Ferguson also seeing a heavy target share. Jalen Tolbert and Ryan Flournoy will battle for the WR2 role if KaVontae Turpin (foot) misses a second straight game.
