Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Casey DeSmith is likely to get the starting nod in Thursday's road game against the Florida Panthers with starter Matt Murray (upper body) nursing an upper-body injury suffered in Tuesday's game. DeSmith has posted a 13-9-4 record with a 2.69 goals-against average and .918 save percentage with two shutouts, although he has lost three of his past four outings. The team also called up Tristan Jarry from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre of the AHL to serve as the backup to DeSmith in case Murray is unable to go.--Daniel Dobish
