Carter Jensen Promoted to Triple-A Omaha
Carter Jensen has been promoted to Triple-A Omaha. The Royals' third-ranked prospect hit .292 with six home runs and seven steals in 68 games, recording the most hits in the Texas League (80), while his four triples, 37 RBI, and 40 runs scored rank in the top five in the league. The 21-year-old is coming off a 2024 campaign in which he hit 18 home runs with 17 steals in 125 games, so there is power that should continue to grow and above-average speed for his position. Look for him to make a run at a September promotion for his big league debut if he shows well at Triple-A, otherwise, the former third-round draft pick should be in the mix for an MLB debut in 2026.
