Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price stopped 39-of-41 shots on goal as he played a key role in Saturday's 3-2 overtime victory against the Penguins in Game 1 of the Qualifying series. Defenseman Jeff Petry scored the game-winning goal in overtime while dynamic youngsters Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Nick Suzuki each scored in regulation to help the Canadiens grab an early lead in their best-of-five play-in series. Price was sharp throughout the contest but allowed a pair of goals in the second period, as forwards Sidney Crosby and Bryan Rust scored consecutively to even up the score after the Canadiens jumped out to a two-goal lead. Game 2 of the series will take place on Monday night, with Price expected to play an important role in the crease against the veteran core of players with Playoff experience on the Penguins.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
