Cameron Maybin Reunites With Miami Marlins
7 years agoOutfielder Cameron Maybin reunites with the Marlins in South Beach for the 2018 season after winning a World Series ring with the Houston Astros. Maybin, who spent the 2008-10 seasons with the Florida Marlins organization, should be an instant starter for the Marlins who shipped their entire outfield to other teams in the offseason. The speedster has never finished with more than 10 home runs in a season, though he's always a threat to steal a bag. Last year, Maybin finished with 33 stolen bases, the second-most he's ever had in a big-league season. Stolen bases are the only thing Maybin has to offer this year, as his career .255 average is lackluster to say the least. There shouldn't be any reason for Maybin to be drafted, though his potential to steal bases is enticing.
