Byron Buxton Resting on Saturday
Byron Buxton is not in the team's starting lineup on Saturday against the visiting Toronto Blue Jays at Target Field. Harrison Bader will start in center field and will bat ninth versus Blue Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman. Although Bader has been a nice surprise offensively in his first year with the Twins in 2025, fantasy managers setting DFS lineups will probably want to avoid him in the nine-hole and for the fact he's hit just .091 with an RBI in 11 career at-bats against Gausman. Buxton could use a little breather after going hitless in nine at-bats with two strikeouts in his last three games. The 31-year-old former second overall pick is on pace for his first 20-homer, 20-stolen base season in his 12th year in the big leagues if he can stay healthy the rest of the way. That's a pretty big if, considering his lengthy injury history.
