Buccaneers Will "Go with the Hot Hand" in the Backfield in Week 13
With Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (shoulder, foot) set to play in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals for the first time since Week 4, Tampa Bay has three viable running back options between Irving, Rachaad White, and Sean Tucker. When asked about Irving's usage, Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said, "we'll put him in," "see how he's rolling," and "then kind of go with the hot hand" in the backfield, per ESPN's Jenna Laine. Given Irving's long injury layoff, it makes sense for the team to split the workload in Week 13 between their three backs. However, it makes for a difficult situation for fantasy managers who may find it difficult to rely on any of the Buccaneers' running backs for high-end fantasy production. Irving profiles as a low-end fantasy RB2 against Arizona and still likely holds the highest upside between the three players.
