Stephen Curry to Undergo an MRI
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (quadriceps) will undergo an MRI after suffering a quad contusion in Wednesday's NBA Cup loss to the Houston Rockets. The multi-time All-Star had a rough time getting his shots to fall on Wednesday night, and he would go on to finish with 14 points while shooting 2-for-9 from behind the three-point line. The Warriors don't play again until Saturday versus the New Orleans Pelicans, so there's a chance he might suit up. Of course, the team will play it safe, considering Curry has sustained numerous injuries throughout his lengthy career. Fortunately for the Dubs, Jonathan Kuminga (knee) could be back on Saturday, which would certainly help lessen the blow caused by Curry's potential absence. Jimmy Butler III should also take on more of the scoring load, with Brandin Podziemski, who had 14 points against Houston from off the bench, potentially working his way into the starting lineup.
