Bryson Stott 2024 Outlook: How Will The Third-Year 2B Surprise Us This Year?
9 months agoTaking over full-time second base duties in 2023, Bryson Stott proved one of the best during his sophomore campaign. The 26-year-old started the year with a bang as he surpassed Puddin' Head Jones for the longest hitting streak to begin a season (17) in Phillies franchise history. Stott built upon that by displaying elite plate discipline and improving his offensive production in nearly every category from his rookie year. Overall, the UNLV product batted .280 with 15 home runs, 62 RBI, and 31 stolen bases across 151 games in 2023. ATC projects Stott to step back in 2024, slashing .264/.320/.398 with 13 homers, 61 RBI, and 22 stolen bags over 582 plate appearances. With an ADP of 114.7, Stott could surprise and post a better season than his projections, making him a sleeper to watch for fantasy managers.
