Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (elbow) is currently dealing with right elbow soreness. According to Phillies manager Joe Girardi, the soreness isn't affecting Harper at the plate. It's only a nuisance when Harper is throwing from the outfield. The 29-year-old played designated hitter on Sunday and he will continue to play designated hitter during the team's three-game series against the Colorado Rockies, which begins on Monday. The reigning NL MVP is slashing .216/.333/.486 with two home runs, nine RBI and nine runs through 10 games on the year.
