Bryce Harper Lands on Injured List
Bryce Harper (wrist) on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to June 6) with right-wrist inflammation and recalled infielder/outfielder Otto Kemp from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move. Harper missed a week recently due to an elbow contusion and is now going to miss more time with a wrist injury after he sat out of Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 32-year-old two-time MVP will be eligible to return on June 16, but it remains to be seen if that will actually happen. For now, fantasy managers must keep Harper stashed in an IL spot and hope he can return sooner than later. Hopefully his wrist injury doesn't affect his power at the plate when he does come back. The former first-rounder heads to the IL with a .258/.368/.446 slash line with nine home runs, 34 RBI, 32 runs and eight steals in 213 at-bats.
