Brock Bowers Absent Again on Thursday
Brock Bowers (knee) remains absent from practice on Thursday, according to ESPN's Ryan McFadden. Bowers has yet to practice this week and is unlikely to make his return in a Week 7 divisional contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 22-year-old second-year tight end initially suffered a PCL injury in Week 1 and played through it, but he will be missing his third straight contest this weekend. The Raiders have their bye coming up in Week 8, so the hope is that he will be recovered in time to take the field in Week 9 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bowers' knee injury has made him one of the biggest fantasy busts so far in 2025, but he needs to remain stashed in all fantasy formats. Michael Mayer scored his first touchdown of the year in the Week 6 win over the Tennessee Titans and will be in play as a TE2 streamer against KC this weekend with Bowers likely out again.
