Brian Robinson Officially Designated To Return To Practice
2 years agoThe Washington Commanders officially announced Wednesday that rookie running back Brian Robinson (knee) has been designated to return to practice this week. It means that Robinson could make his NFL debut in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday after he was shot in an attempted robbery just before the start of the season. The Commanders have 21 days to officially activate the third-round rookie. Before suffering multiple gunshot wounds to his right leg, Robinson was in line to have a significant workload alongside Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic, so his impending return is bad news for both Gibson and McKissic. However, fantasy managers should temper expectations for Robinson's role whenever he makes his NFL debut.
