Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott saved 23 of 24 shots Thursday night in a 4-1 win at Chicago, improving his record for the year to 2-1-0. The 34-year old netminder has now won two starts on the bounce and he boasts some very good numbers, holding a 2.09 goals-against average and a .933 save percentage. Elliott has clearly outplayed Carter Hart so far, with the youngster recording a .890 save percentage and a 2.59 goals-against average. The Flyers have a back-to-back set coming up over the weekend, so both goalies should see action, but Elliott has been preferred guy lately as he's started two consecutive games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
