Brenton Strange A Solid Replacement For Evan Engram Once Again
3 months agoJacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange could be a solid play for fantasy managers in a pinch when he faces the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. With Evan Engram officially ruled out, the second-year tight end has a chance to improve on his three catch, 65 yard performance last week against the Cleveland Browns. Similar to the Browns, the Bills are better against the pass than the run, so Trevor Lawrence may not be asked to do too much, but at a weak fantasy position, managers can do much worse. It's not the greatest matchup for Strange, considering the Bills held stud tight end Trey McBride to just five catches for 30 yards in Week 1, but he has a decent chance of putting up at least a satisfactory performance for fantasy managers. Strange serves as a solid injury replacement in Week 3 despite the less than ideal matchup with the Bills.
