Brandon Aubrey In Line To Be Cowboys Kicker
Tristan Vizcaino, Brandon Aubrey looks like he is set to be the Cowboys kicker in 2023. Jerry Jones praised him, saying, "He's having a real solid camp. We're very comfortable going into the season with him." Aubrey made 7-of-9 field goal attempts on Monday, missing from 43 yards and 44. He is 26-for-35 over the whole training camp. The 28-year-old played in the United Soccer League in 2017 and 2018 and played for the Birmingham Stallions of the USFL in 2022. As the Stallions' kicker, he made 35-of-35 extra-point attempts and 14-of-15 field goals. He went 6-of-6 on kicks between 40 and 49 yards, including making a 49-yarder, and his only miss was on a kick over 50 yards.
