Brandin Cooks With A Great Week 5 Matchup
5 years agoBefore the season began, most fantasy owners considered Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks to have both a volatile floor and a high ceiling. While Cooks certainly has maintained his WR2 value, what’s pleasantly surprising is that the veteran has shown remarkable consistency. Against the Buccaneers, Cooks had six receptions for 71 yards on nine targets and remained heavily involved in the offense as a deep-ball threat. This should bode well heading into a matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, whose secondary gave up a big day to fellow speedster and deep-ball threat John Ross in Week 1. Lock Cooks in as WR2 in all formats (upgraded slightly in standard scoring due to his high yardage per game) with a WR1 ceiling.
