6 months agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer was promoted to Double-A Northwest Arkansas after his third straight scoreless start for High-A Wilmington on Monday. The team's top prospect and No. 50 overall, per MLB Pipeline, is now 5-2 on the season and hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 22 innings. In five May starts, the 22-year-old is 3-0 with a 0.90 ERA, 29 strikeouts, five walks and a 1.00 WHIP. Singer has excellent command, makeup and competitiveness and should continue to rise quickly through the Royals system. Stash him now in dynasty/keeper leagues with an eye on him potentially joining the starting rotation at some point in 2020.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
