Bradley Zimmer Looks for a Better Sophomore Campaign in 2018
7 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Bradley Zimmer will hope to build on his 2017 rookie season with a stronger 2018 sophomore season. Zimmer came out of the gate a bit slowly in his rookie year, slashing just .241/.307/.385 with eight home runs and 39 RBI. He provided significant value on defense, but that is irrelevant in almost all fantasy leagues. Still, he showed some promising signs and was the number two prospect in the Cleveland system (and top-50 in all of baseball) for a reason. He's a good bet to improve in almost all categories in 2018, but owners should continue to expect relatively low power production from Zimmer. He'll make up for some of it with a likely solid total of stolen bases, though.
