Bears to Go With Hot Hand in Backfield in Week 10?
Chicago Bears running backs D'Andre Swift (groin) and Kyle Monangai (ankle) are both set to play in Week 10 on Sunday against the New York Giants after being listed on the injury report this week, and head coach Ben Johnson gave a bit of insight into how the team plans to divvy up the backfield workload this weekend, according to Courtney Cronin of ESPN. "I believe in a guy having the hot hand. One guy, if he's feeling it and giving us a spark, we might lean on that a little bit longer," Johnson said. Swift missed the Week 9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals with his nagging groin issue, leading to Monangai going for almost 200 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 29 touches. Swift is on track to return this weekend, but it sounds like Monangai is going to be more involved as Chicago manages Swift's groin injury. Monangai's fantasy ceiling obviously takes a hit with Swift returning, but he might still be a decent RB3/flex with upside against the G-Men.
