Bears Release Breshad Perriman
3 years agoThe Chicago Bears released wide receiver Breshad Perriman on Sunday, according to a source. Perriman never was active for a game with the Bears this year despite being healthy. It's not a good sign for Perriman finding work elsewhere, as the Bears receiving corps is one of the worst in the league behind Allen Robinson II with options like Darnell Mooney, Marquise Goodwin, Damiere Byrd and Jakeem Grant. The 28-year-old had a career year in 2019 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he caught 36 passes for 645 yards and six touchdowns, but outside of that one season, Perriman has done very little in his five NFL seasons.
