11 months agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews stretched his point streak to four games on Thursday, finishing a 5-4 overtime loss against Detroit with his ninth assist of the season. Matthews has been ruthless since returning to the lineup following a month on the sidelines, averaging two points per game. 14 of his 24 points for the season have come on the road, so look for him to continue his tear during the team's upcoming five-game road trip.
