Austin Ekeler Struggling To Get Touches
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers alternative running back Austin Ekeler remains just good enough to be tantalizing, but the lack of usage makes him risky at best in fantasy. The second-year back has seen his usage increase a bit from last season, but LA's monster primary back, Melvin Gordon, is just too good to be supplanted for much. Ekeler's performance has been excellent as he's averaging 5.8 yards per carry and 12.3 yards per catch, but he's unfortunately buried in a system that just has too many other outstanding options. Expect Ekeler to be a long shot performer every week, including this one.
