Auden Tate Undergoes Surgery Tuesday
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Auden Tate (shoulder) underwent successful shoulder surgery to fix a torn labrum on Tuesday. Tate will be out anywhere from four to six months but should be ready for training camp next summer. The 23-year-old will be on the final year of his rookie deal in 2021 after he finished this season with 14 catches for 150 yards in nine games played. The seventh-round pick in 2018 has 58 catches on 114 targets for 760 yards and only one touchdown in 28 games (12 starts) in his first three seasons in the NFL. Tate was mainly receiver depth this year, but he had a career-high 40 receptions for 575 yards and his only touchdown in 12 games last season with A.J. Green out due to injury.
