The Oakland A's have signed reliever Dylan Hall to a minor-league deal. Signed by the Mets as an undrafted free agent following the shortened five-round 2020 draft, Hall has put forth some solid minor-league numbers over the past three seasons. He spent time at three minor-league levels in 2023, most notably posting a healthy 3.04 ERA at Double-A before tossing a pair of scoreless outings at Triple-A. All told, Hall sports a 3.61 ERA with 132 strikeouts across 80 games and 119 1/3 innings pitched in his minor-league career. He is likely to begin the season in the minors but at age 26, he could be a factor in the A's bullpen at some point in the 2024 season.--Brenton KempRead More News
