Stewart-Haas Racing's Aric Almirola posted a best speed of 192.131 mph in qualifying for Sunday's GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, and he will go off from the second position on the outside of Row 1 next to pole sitter Austin Dillon of Richard Childress Racing. Almirola won the last start at Talladega last fall, and he has five straight top-10 finishes at the track, including top-5 showings in three of the past four starts at 'Dega. In 18 career starts he has six Top 10s and all but two of his starts have results in a Top 20 or better finish.--Daniel Dobish
