Los Angeles Kings center Anze Kopitar had two assists in Thursday's huge win over the Colorado Avalanche. Kopitar's first assist came on the power play as he found defenseman Drew Doughty for the team's first goal. Late in the third period, the Kings captain added another assist on Adrian Kempe's go-ahead goal. Los Angeles went 2-for-5 on the power play against the Avalanche on Thursday, with the Slovenian-born centerman directing the first power-play unit. He leads Los Angeles in points with no goals and six assists in four games this season.
