New York Mets right-handed pitching prospect Anthony Nunez has continued to dominate on the bump. During Friday's contest against High-A Wilmington, Nunez tossed one 2/3 shutout innings of relief. He struck out two batters. Through his first 12 1/3 innings of work at the High-A level, Nunez has allowed just one hit and one run (unearned). He has served up just one free pass and struck out an impressive 20 batters. Nunez only logged 10 innings of work during the 2024 campaign, but appears to have taken a significant step forward in his development this season. Fantasy managers should expect the 23-year-old to continue to spend most of the first half with High-A. If he is able to remain effective on the mound, he could push for an early promotion to Double-A.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerRead More News
