Anthony Mantha Registers Three Points On Saturday
5 years agoDetroit Red Wings forward Anthony Mantha picked up a goal and two assists en route to his team defeating the Nashville Predators by a score of 5-3 on Saturday night. The 25-year-old was noticeable throughout the contest - also registering a plus-three rating, four penalty minutes and five shots on goal while skating 21:26 in time on ice. Mantha has emerged as a legitimate fantasy asset in just three seasons in the NHL, capped off by a stellar run following the All-Star Game in 2018-2019 in which he tallied 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) in his final 30 games. He's cemented himself on the Wings' top line and should remain a dangerous scoring option throughout the 2019-2020 campaign. If you happen to play in the 30% of Yahoo! leagues in which Mantha is not owned, make sure you add him prior to his next tilt versus the Stars on Sunday.
