Anthony Castonzo Dealing With MCL Sprain
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich confirmed on Monday that left tackle Anthony Castonzo (knee) is dealing with an MCL sprain, and it's "too early to tell" how much time Castonzo will miss. The 32-year-old should miss time, meaning quarterback Philip Rivers won't have his starting blind-side protector heading into a Week 13 matchup with the Texans. Castonzo could be looking at a two- to six-week absence, so hopefully Indy will at least have him back for a potential playoff run. Expect the Colts to replace Castonzo with Le'Raven Clark on the left side, but it's a big blow to Indy's top-notch offensive line. Rivers has a nice matchup against Houston this weekend, but the loss of Castonzo is definitely bad news for the immobile veteran signal-caller.
