Andrew Vaughn’s Strong Spring Continues
4 years agoChicago White Sox first base prospect Andrew Vaughn recorded another two hits on Friday. The 22-year-old is now 7-for-20 (.350) this spring with two extra-base hits. Vaughn also has an impressive BB-K of 6-3 giving the rookie a strong on-base presence through his first nine spring games. The third-overall selection in the 2019 amateur draft, he's loaded with potential and may be expediting his MLB arrival. Vaughn hasn't officially played above A-ball but he spent 2020 at the club's alternate training site and could be in the majors by June. He's ranked by Rotoballer as the top first base dynasty prospect in baseball due to his ability to hit for both power and average.
