Andrew Vaughn Knocks In Two Runs
4 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman/outfielder Andrew Vaughn went 1-for-3 with a sacrifice fly, home run and two RBI in Tuesday's victory versus the Toronto Blue Jays. Vaughn tied the game with his home run in the bottom of the seventh inning and then gave the White Sox the lead with his sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth. Vaughn came into the season as a highly touted prospect, but he has been quiet so far in his rookie year. He is now hitting .230 with four home runs and 15 RBI. Managers in deeper leagues should still consider Vaughn due to his high ceiling in a good lineup.
