1 month agoMinnesota Wild goaltender Alex Stalock picked up his first victory of the season in Monday's 2-0 win over the Ottawa Senators. The 32-year-old stopped all 26 shots he faced in the contest, earning his sixth career NHL shutout. Stalock's sturdy performance comes at an opportune time, as his team had failed to post a win in any of its first four games of the campaign. Backing up a workhorse in fellow Wild netminder Devan Dubnyk, Stalock likely only holds value as a potential streamer in just the deepest of fantasy leagues. However, with Dubnyk off to a rough start (4.56 goals-against average, .862 save percentage), Stalock could be in line for more appearances moving forward. The Minnesota native will carry a sparkling 0.71 goals-against average and a .971 save percentage into his next start.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
