Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Alex Pietrangelo will miss Monday's game against Columbus for personal reasons. He will sit out his first game of the season. Pietrangelo has been a very valuable asset for the team the whole season, recording 21 points in 23 appearances with a nice chunk of defensive stats and a plus-four rating. He leaves a spot on the first defensive pairing and the top power-play unit unoccupied, which will give Shea Theodore a chance to play a bigger role. It's been a good campaign for him as well, and Theodore has also found some hot form in recent outings, upping his points tally to 17 with a run of three points in two games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
