Arizona Coyotes defenseman Alex Goligoski (concussion) left Monday's 5-4 road loss against the Dallas Stars due to concussion-like symptoms. He was checked from behind by right wing Brett Ritchie, who was assessed a five-minute boarding major and game misconduct. Goligoski, who had blood trickling down his face, was helped to the locker room by the training staff. He was unable to return to the ice after failing to pass the NHL's league-mandated concussion protocol. It's likely he'll be able to finish out the road trip on Tuesday in Nashville, although the club has not yet ruled him out.--Daniel Dobish
