Alex Bowman scored one of the most memorable wins of his career in the 2021 Martinsville event after spinning Denny Hamlin to win. Unfortunately, he has mostly struggled in the two years since as he has only scored five top ten finishes. Bowman led 58 laps since the spring short track season started and he has finished no better than eighth on short tracks this season. That has not been entirely reflective of his speed as Bowman is the 11th fastest driver on short tracks this year. He carries a speed percentile of 65.46%, but consider he only qualified 22nd for Sunday. The Toyotas and Fords seem to both be faster than the Chevies. Perhaps the #48 team has already decided to focus its development efforts on next year after Bowman missed the playoffs.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerRead More News
