Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov failed to replicate Patrik Laine's heroics on Thursday in a Global Series game played in Finland, but he didn't have to leave empty-handed either, collecting a power-play assist on the team's first goal in an eventual 4-2 loss. Barkov and Mike Hoffman helped Keith Yandle put the Cats on the board to make it 1-1 and they managed to tie the game up for a second time later on, but Laine was a man on a mission and led the Jets to victory with his fifth career hat trick. Barkov is in decent form with nine points in 10 games, but he's failed to register any points in four outings, so consistency has been a problem early in the year.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
