Adrian Peterson Has Little Value Against Former Team
4 years agoDetroit Lions running back Adrian Peterson will face his former team, the Vikings, in Week 17 to wrap up his 14th season in the NFL. The 35-year-old has continued to defy expectations in the later stages of his career and enters this Sunday with 541 yards and six touchdowns. Peterson began the season as the starter but quickly lost his job as rookie D'Andre Swift received more opportunities. He will enter action in the final game of the season as a backup with little fantasy value and it is fair to question whether it could be the future Hall-of-Famer's last game. No one should count out Peterson landing on a team in 2021 but it is unlikely he will see double digit carries in Week 17 against the Vikings.
