Adam Henrique Notches Two Goals In Ducks Win
5 years agoThe Anaheim Ducks were feeling mighty on Sunday night. Adam Henrique scored twice as the club downed the Vancouver Canucks by a score of 5-1. He now has six points over his past five games and hit the 20-goal plateau for the fifth time in his career. Journeyman forward Derek Grant had a goal and an assist. The goal was his 14th of the season. Sam Steel and Brendan Guhle also scored goals for Anaheim. John Gibson rebounded from a poor game earlier in the week to turn aside 37 of 38 shots. It was just his second win in his last six appearances. He’s currently sitting with the lowest SV% (.904) and highest GAA (2.99) of his career through 43 games this year. Elias Pettersson scored the lone goal for Vancouver. It was his 58th point in 58 games. Thatcher Demko had a rough time in net and allowed five goals on 28 shots.
