49ers To Re-Sign Jordan Matthews
5 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers are planning to re-sign wide receiver Jordan Matthews, according to league sources. He's expected to take rookie Jalen Hurd's (back) spot on the roster after he was put on Injured Reserve. Matthews didn't make the club's final roster this summer, so he's unlikely to make much of an impact in the offense despite the Niners receiving corps not being much to look at. The 27-year-old caught just 20 passes for 300 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games for the Eagles in 2018. He can remain on waiver wires in mostly all leagues for now.
