Tyreek Hill 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook- The Cheetah Is Not Slowing Down Any Time Soon
7 months agoTyreek Hill is coming off his best season as a pro, where he was on pace to become the first wide receiver to reach 2,000 receiving yards before injuring his ankle late in the season. The fantasy community was concerned after he went from catching Patrick Mahomes missiles to Tua Tagovailoa underthrown passes, but we were all dead wrong. Hill has posted back-to-back 1,700-yard seasons in Miami, a feat he never accomplished with the Chiefs, and he set career highs in fantasy points scored each year. The genius play calling of head coach Mike McDaniel has not only overcome the perceived deficiencies we saw in Tua, it has elevated Hill's usage, efficiency, and production, and has made him a bigger fantasy superstar than ever before. Cheetah's current ADP sits at 1.03, but it would not be crazy to take him first overall, though that honor will likely go to Christian McCaffery in most leagues. Last season, Hill led the league in target share (33.7%), target rate (36.9%), receiving yards (1,799), yards per route run (3.88), fantasy points per route run (0.81), and route win rate (65.9%). Despite turning 30 this year, he shows no signs of slowing down, and I truly believe that McDaniels and Hill want him to reach 2,000 receiving yards. So do not be shocked if he tops his career highs from last season, and do not be afraid to draft him with a top-three pick.
