Week 14 Tight End Rankings Analysis

Wellslogan via http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:WellsloganIt looks like Julius Thomas should return this week. It’s hard to expect a lot of yards, but there’s an extremely high chance for a touchdown here. I also like both Jason Witten and Martellus Bennett in Thursday night’s game. Witten has been mostly touchdown-or-bust on the season, but this is a great matchup. I think he’s a good bet to score.

Jordan Reed has a tough matchup, but looks healthy once again and seems to have good chemistry with Colt McCoy. Even in this tough matchup, if he can seven or more targets, he should have a nice day.

It looks like Dwayne Allen will return this week, hurting Coby Fleener’s value. Allen is definitely my preferred guy there. He’s the better blocker, which means he sees the field more, which leads to more opportunities to run routes as well.

Jordan Cameron has missed five straight games with a concussion, but he appears to be close to a return. If he plays, he’s probably better than your other options if you’re streaming at the position.

There are a few sleeper options at this position. With Eric Ebron, the snaps are there, and he’s been getting four or more targets a game. He has more upside than anyone else outside my top 20 at tight end. Another sleeper option is Scott Chandler. He is very boom-or-bust, but the Broncos are pretty vulnerable against tight ends. If you need to start someone way down the list, Chandler is a decent bet.

Good luck in Week 14 and your playoff matchups RotoBallers!
