The MLB regular season is winding down, as we have a few weeks left in the season. It's time to scour the waiver wire and pick up players who can secure fantasy managers that championship run. At RotoBaller HQ, we are back with more fantasy baseball advice and have our updated top 100 hitters and pitchers list for Week 24--September 8 through September 14-- to help fantasy managers stay on top of the waiver wire in leagues that allow daily moves.
There are key performances, prospect promotions, and injuries to watch for this week. The Cubs have turned to right-hander Andrew Kittredge to handle ninth-inning duties after placing closer Daniel Palencia on the injured list with a right shoulder strain. Kittredge picked up Wednesday's win over Atlanta. Chicago White Sox infielder Chase Meidroth continues to swing a hot bat and is hitting .500 (11-for-22) with an RBI and two runs over his last six games. A key injury to monitor is Brewers catcher William Contreras, who was held out of Wednesday's game with a bruised forearm.
