Michael Wilson fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 9 (2024). Should you start or sit Michael Wilson for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Keep Wilson on your bench, but don't start him outside the deepest of leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Michael Wilson has shown some flashes this year but has just two games with seven-plus targets. He's found the end zone three times but has just two games with 60-plus receiving yards. The talent is there, but he's clearly No. 3 in the pecking order on the Arizona Cardinals, and there just isn't enough volume to go around.
Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge is back with a massive $500,000 grand prize and $1.35 million total prize pool, paying down to 800th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 10 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The 7,250 entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 10th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $500,000! Wilson comes into Week 9 sitting at WR55 in fantasy points per game, with three weeks where he’s managed WR3-level production. He’s seen three red zone targets over his last four games and ranks second on the team in deep targets with six.
Chicago’s secondary has been leaky when it comes to deep passes since Week 4, giving up the 13th-highest adjusted completion rate, the 12th-highest passer rating, and the 11th-most passing yards per game on deep throws.
Wilson is a deeper flex play for Week 9 if you’re in need, but temper those expectations.
