BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 15% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Betting on the Packers offense outside of Davante Adams or Aaron Jones takes guts, but here we are. Although those two have played just six games each, they lead the team's skill-position players in total PPR points and PPR points per game through Week 9. Jones' 126.9 points are 41.5 more than no. 3 highest-scorer Robert Tonyan's. Just imagine.
The good thing about this, though, is the fact that 1) Green Bay doesn't have much talent around and that makes every second/third-tier player a viable FLEX option in deeper leagues, 2) Allen Lazar has been injured and although he will come back soon nothing is clear about his health going forward, and 3) Marquez Valdes-Scantling took all of the advantages this past Thursday to murder San Francisco to the tune of his second-best game so far this season.
That's right, MVS posted a monster 19.3-point performance that only trailed (slightly) his W1 outing of 19.6 points. Marquez caught two of four targets for 53 yards, but he found paydirt twice and for the first time since the first game of the year. While MVS is far from a weekly starter, and hi floor/ceiling is rather low more often than not, he's one of the few players that have always been there for Rodgers to throw the ball to.
Don't get too high on MVS and keep your expectations under control, but if you're part of a super-deep league you might want to explore the potential addition of MVS to your team. If only for a week, the Packers host Jacksonville in W10, and the Jaguars rank 13th-worst at stopping fantasy WRs. Not the worst of streamer-FLEX plays out there for needy GMs.
