Josh Downs start or sit Week 11 advice. Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2024). Should I start or sit Josh Downs for fantasy football?
BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs had a short reunion with quarterback Joe Flacco, but with the news of second-year QB Anthony Richardson returning as the starter for the rest of the season, Downs downgrades from a high-end WR2 to a risky WR3/FLEX play.

Richardson has been wildly inconsistent this season, having completed just 44.4% of his passes, throwing seven interceptions, and fumbling the ball five times, losing one. He turns the ball over more often that he scores, and the team has leaned on running back Jonathan Taylor and kicker Matt Gay to consistently get points.
There is a glimmer of hope, though. Downs had his best game of the season in Week 8, when he scored 22.2 PPR fantasy points, when Richardson was under center. Much of this was on a busted coverage touchdown, but if the two can connect more often on deep passes, it could give the wideout a much higher fantasy ceiling.

There's plenty of risk starting him, but he's still a great receiver, so he's a viable WR3/FLEX play in Week 11 against a floundering New York Jets team reeling from a blowout loss in Week 10 to the Arizona Cardinals.
