J.K. Dobbins is a 2024 fantasy football draft sleeper at running back. Target J.K. Dobbins as an undervalued RB in fantasy football drafts.
BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~147 Overall
CURRENT ADP: ~121
ANALYSIS: While J.K. Dobbins' ADP is a bit pricy compared to our rankings, there's a chance he will slip in your home-league drafts. The former stud prospect out of Ohio State has had a brutal run of injury misfortune, but he's surprisingly participated in most offseason activities. He has progressed and healed well from his 2023 torn Achilles.

With Jim Harbaugh running the Chargers, he and offensive coordinator Greg Roman are expected to change L.A.'s offensive identity into a physical run-first attack. Dobbins figures to share work with Gus Edwards, but both could be high-volume runners in 2024.
Although many believe the Chargers offense will struggle, there's a chance it exceeds expectations under high-dollar quarterback Justin Herbert. In an ideal world, the team's revamped offensive line will pave wide gaps for Dobbins and Edwards, leading to play-action chunk plays that move the sticks. This all adds up to more sustained drives and potential red zone opportunities for Dobbins.

There's no doubt Dobbins could look sluggish following ACL and Achilles tears in his young career, but if he's available around the No. 145 overall pick, he's worth taking a shot on. If he busts, it won't hurt your chances to win a championship. If he becomes at least a weekly flex consideration, that's a win at his current cost.
