ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo has barely seen the field as a rookie. He is the RB63 for the year, averaging 3.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Yet, fantasy players had high hopes for him heading into the 49ers’ Week 9 bye.
The rookie running back had 14 rushing attempts for 85 yards and a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys, totaling 17.7 fantasy points in the win. Guerendo has had more than five rushing attempts in two games this year. He has averaged 12 rushing attempts for 92 yards and 13.8 fantasy points per game in those two contests.
Unfortunately, the rookie has no fantasy value with Christian McCaffrey back in the lineup. Guerendo and Jordan Mason both had only one rushing attempt on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fantasy players should avoid adding him in all redraft leagues.
