MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks

Kevin Gausman OVER 6.5 strikeouts (+100 DraftKings Sportsbook)

I always like trying to start these off with a bit of value, and I think that is exactly what we are getting here with Gausman at plus money. GAus man has struck out 30 batters over his first 24 2/3 innings pitched this season and has a relatively solid matchup against the Yankees today. Over the previous two weeks, the YAnks have posted a 24.7% K rate vs. right-handed pitching, which ranks them eighth-worst in the league. Gausman has also eclipsed this prop in three of his first four stsrts.

Hunter Greene OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-150 DraftKings Sportsbook)

Greene has eclipsed this total in two of his first four starts, one of which was an eight-strikeout performance against these Pirates on Opening Day. While the Pirates are striking out at just a rate of 20.6% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, we simply do not see a number this low on Greene very often. He should be able to rack up 7 strikeouts in this one, which is a number he reached 12 times in 2022.

Brayan Bello OVER  4.5 strikeouts (-130 DraftKings Sportsbook)

Bello has only had one start in 2023 and it was a rough one. He manages to strike out five in just two and 2/3 innings pitched, however, and he does have a decent matchup in this one against Milwaukee. The Brewers are currently striking out at a rate of 24.4% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks them ninth-worst in the league. Bello has also shown flashes of strikeout upside as he posted five or strikeouts in four of his final six starts to end 2022. Our old friend Mike Kurland feels the same:
