Notable Fantasy Injuries:
- Bucky Irving (Shoulder/foot) - Out
- Chris Godwin (Fibula) - Expected to Play
Matchups We Love
Matthew Stafford is simply balling out right now. He has thrown multiple passing touchdowns in eight of his last nine games and has scored above 25 fantasy points five different times since Week 4. Now, he gets an incredible matchup against a Buccaneers secondary that just allowed Josh Allen to finish as the overall QB1 last week. So, Stafford is a solid QB1 in Week 12.
Matthew Stafford is up to +300 for MVP, trailing only Drake Maye (+250) 🏆
He’s in Year 17. His best MVP finish to date was eighth in 2023.
If he wins, he’d be the oldest player ever to win his first MVP (37 years, 331 days) and the third-oldest MVP overall. pic.twitter.com/bZFgtU8SbE

Although Blake Corum is seeing more opportunities on offense, Kyren Williams continues to be a reliable RB option for fantasy managers. He has scored above 16 PPR fantasy points in three straight games and has totaled four rushing touchdowns since Week 9. As a result, Williams is a low-end RB1 against a Buccaneers defense that has allowed a top-10 fantasy RB in four of its past five games.
Matchups We Hate
Despite some more difficult matchups in recent weeks, Baker Mayfield has finished as a top-10 fantasy QB in consecutive games. Unfortunately, Mayfield has another tough matchup on deck against the Rams. Los Angeles has allowed just one QB to finish top-12 at the position since Week 6. That makes Mayfield a riskier QB1 option.
Buccaneers RBs
Update: Irving has been ruled out. White and Tucker are still risky plays.
There's a chance that Bucky Irving suits up this week for the first time since Week 4. Either way, though, fantasy managers should be sitting all Buccaneers RBs. Even if Irving misses another game, both Rachaad White and Sean Tucker will be riskier flex plays. The Rams have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to RBs and have only given up two rushing touchdowns all season.
Bucs HC Todd Bowles told reporters that RB Bucky Irving is out for Sunday night’s game in L.A., but the team is targeting his return in Week 13 against Arizona.

Other Notable Matchups
WR Emeka Egbuka
Emeka Egbuka hasn't been a consistent WR option in recent weeks, finishing with under 10 PPR fantasy points in four of the last five games. However, fantasy managers should continue to start him as a WR2 in all formats. He has a 34% target share over the last three weeks, and the Rams have allowed a WR to score over 17 PPR fantasy points in back-to-back weeks.
Chris Godwin is expected to return to the Buccaneers’ lineup Sunday night, while Bucky Irving’s return will take at least another week, a source says.

Rams WRs
Fantasy managers should continue to start both Puka Nacua and Davante Adams in all formats. Nacua will come in as a WR1, while Adams will be more of a WR2. The Buccaneers rank 22nd in fantasy points allowed, 25th in receptions allowed, and 25th in receiving yards allowed per game to opposing WRs. That works in both Nacua and Adams' favor.
TE Cade Otton
It's not a surprise that Cade Otton didn't do much last week, as the Bills have allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing TEs this year. However, this is a much better matchup for Otton. The Rams have let four different TEs finish top-14 at the position since Week 9, which included AJ Barner catching 10 passes for 70 yards last week. Therefore, Otton is a low-end TE1 in Week 12.
